Regarded as one of the most talented italian poster artist, Sergio Olivotti, had been Adjunct Professor at the Politecnico di Milano (Faculty of Design_Interni) from 2006 to 2011 and he is the founder and organizer of the Italian Poster Biennial. His awards include the ADCI Award in Florence, “Teranga International Illustration Contest” in Skrbina, “La Casa della Fantasia” in Borgomanero.
He has held collective and solo exhibitions worldwide: Konya, Istanbul, Warsaw, Lahti, Ciudad del Mexico, Barcelona, Caracas, La Paz, Moscow, Florence. Since 2001 he had been teaching photography and graphic design in italian high level school.
He published three books about graphic design and played the role of juror in many international poster contest.
In 2013 one of his drawing was donated to the Pope S.S. Francesco.
